ROLE DETAILS

My client is a global organisation with operations across multiple international markets. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced EMEA Payroll Manager to take ownership of payroll operations across several countries within the EMEA region.

Reporting to the Senior Human Resources, you will be responsible for delivering accurate, compliant, and timely payroll while leading payroll processes, driving continuous improvement, and supporting key business stakeholders across HR and Finance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Payroll Management:
Manage end-to-end payroll operations across multiple EMEA countries, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.

Leadership:
Support and develop payroll team members while promoting best practice and continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Management:
Partner with HR, Finance, and external payroll providers to ensure seamless payroll delivery and resolve complex payroll queries.

Systems & Compliance:
Oversee payroll systems, including ADP, ensuring data integrity, compliance with local legislation, and operational efficiency.

Process Improvement:
Identify and implement opportunities to streamline payroll processes, improve controls, and enhance service delivery.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience managing multi-country EMEA payroll.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll compliance, tax regulations, and employment legislation.
  • Hands-on experience with ADP payroll systems.
  • Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience leading or mentoring payroll professionals.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • 8+ years' payroll experience within an international environment.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Fluent English is essential; additional European languages are advantageous.
  • High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and confidentiality.
